Individual Coaching

I am often asked What is Coaching? Coaching is a supportive relationship where you are empowered to explore your situation to achieve your goals. The coachee is able to discuss their experience in a place of safety and non-judgement to work towards achieving your goals. Coaching is centred on the present or the future and can involve using tools and strategies to implement change.I believe coaching is a space to explore the things most important to you whether that is your career, wellbeing, life change's or your next big adventure.

About Me

Hi, I’m Mica! I’m a Well-being Coach and founder of Rest Reset. I am a mum of 2 children and wife to my husband. With over a decades experience of working within mental health and child development settings.I have always wanted to help people. I started this journey as a social worker in child protection and soon landed my dream job at the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service and trained as a Systemic Practitioner. While working at CAMHS I was quick to learn that parents and adults wellbeing would often need supporting as well as the child.I would often hear Please just help them. I will be ok if you can help my child. But why should you have to choose between your wellbeing or that of a family member? This created a passion for me to ensure all people have access to a safe secure place to discuss their wellbeing and their future hopes and dreams.Fast forward a few years and a few jobs later I now work at a University within the wellbeing team. I am an ICF trained Coach and I work to promote wellbeing at all stages of life and through all of life’s transitions. In my down time I like to spend time with my family, watch awful TV at the moment its anything Real Housewives! In a past life I worked in a library and love sitting down with a book and turning my brain off.

Why work with me?

With over a decade of experience in mental health and child development, I understand that family well-being starts with you. As a mum of two and a trained Well-being Coach and Systemic Practitioner, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight into my coaching. My approach is holistic and compassionate, focusing on empowering you to prioritise your well-being without sacrificing your family's needs. I create a safe, supportive space for you to explore your goals and dreams, ensuring that you and your loved ones can thrive together.
